Only those whose names appear on the invitation are accounted for in the guest list.

Due to the formal nature of our event, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only affair with the exception of immediate family members. If your child was invited, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Andrew and Emma will be organizing babysitting for the night of the reception. The dress code is black tie optional, While we’d like everyone to be as comfortable as possible throughout the day, we would also love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! Think floor length dresses or jumpsuits or pant suits for women and a suit and a tie or tuxedo for men. We love and encourage bright spring colors and patterns for both men and women! The wedding events will all take place indoors where they will be climate controlled.

In mid to late May, Des Moines experiences mild weather with temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to mid-70s. While spring showers are possible, the days are often sunny and pleasant, with cooler evenings. It’s a comfortable time of year to enjoy the season's natural beauty.
